14 Years Old

Hayleigh is 14 years old now.

We have half-smiles, stomping feet, long sighs, and apathy.

(instead of cake - root beer floats!)

14 is hard. Too old for dolls; too young for dates.

Susan Staus said...: aww!!! 14 does sound hard, but at least they can start going to youth conference! Is that when they can go to dances too? LOL! I can't remember!
But luckily she has a younger sister to play dolls with, so she has a good excuse to play with dolls. :)

I don’t want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
