Never a dull moment!

2 weeks ago Tim called me from where he was helping someone with some construction around their house (around 9:30 AM) to let me know that they was working ahead of schedule and he was really happy about how things were going. Then about 40 minutes later I got a call from him that started out "Don't panic. I don't want you to get upset and panic. Everything is going to be okay." Now, I'm no dummy and I noticed the GOING to be okay phrase. I can't even begin to tell you how many calls I've gotten like this! He went on to tell me that he was sitting in the Emergency Room waiting for some stitches because he cut his hand on the table saw that he was using. The saw caught his glove and sucked it right in. He ended up needing 8 stitches in all and on Tuesday this week (2 days ago), he had surgery on his hand to put in a tube that would help the nerve in his thumb re-connect and hopefully regain feeling in his thumb. The surgery was successful, now it's a waiting game to see if the nerve regrows. The doctor also removed a 1 1/2 inch splinter from his hand.

Our cat Misty seems to be a little delusional about what size she actually is. I don't know how she found this at all comfortable.....

Kirsten isn't much for napping anymore, but she wore herself out recently playing Wii and fell asleep in this position:

Keenan is getting ready to start his missionary preparations...

I made a card the other day that I really like

Tim looks thrilled in the picture with his hand all wrapped up! So how many boys will you have on a mission at the same time?!?! BTW, you are my hero!!

That is too funny that Kristen fell asleep like that!

So, Dad looks so mad. But I guess if you can't tie your own shoes, button your pants, or (gasp) do your own hair that would stink.

And as soon as you heard the phone ring 40 minutes later, you had to have known something was up. Especially with the good karma of the jobs going fast that morning.
