Highways
We have a weather alert system hooked up in the laundry room. We can turn it on manually and listen to the weather just for our area. It also warns us of bad weather - the alarm goes off and then this guy's voice tells us what's going on. The alarm went off last night - we're assuming that it was because the roads were still wet from the rain and the temperatures were dropping which could cause some icy spots. Anyway, Dallin went in to listen to the alert. When he got back to the living room we asked him what the alert was about and he said, "I don't really know. It said something about the highways not being in effect for tonight and tomorrow. Can you drive anywhere if they're not in effect?" With Dallin being the 6th teenager that we've had, I know that this is just "typical teen" - listening half way and then making the rest up!
