Did you ever have so much to do you give up and don't do anything?
There is SO MUCH around here that needs to get done - finish the renovation, Kyle's mission stuff (mostly fixing his teeth!), build a dock and bridge on the almost-empty-but-slowly-filling-up pond, the company's books (ugh), go through all the crap that I didn't know what to do with in the first place so I stuck it all in totes thinking it would be a good thing to do while watching movies, water the garden again, laundry, get the boys and Tim ready for scout camp, dishes (always), brakes on the dump truck, finding a box to send a wii remote in for service and then take it to fedex, etc........
It just never ends.
So, there are times when I look around, see that there's too much to do, and I get a glass of ice water and read a good book instead.....

that's exactly what I do too.
Are you in goodreads? I'll send you an invite if you're not.
Why does life get to be so overwhelming? Sometimes you absolutely need a break!!
goodreads is kind of like Shelfari, a facebook for book lovers. You get to rate the books you read and leave a review, and you have "friends". It's like an online book club.
I'll send you an invite so you can check it out.
Sounds just like my life! We bought a fixer upper 4 years ago, it's very overwhelming! I was against it but my husband really wanted it!
I find that if I ignore it all for half a day or a whole day and just relax, I'm more motivated to get back to it the following day.
